UNIMED Ondo Opens 2025/2026 Admission Portal for Post-UTME & Direct Entry

Founded in 2014, UNIMED is Nigeria’s first specialized medical university and is widely recognized for its consistent academic calendar, high-quality teaching, and hands-on learning in the health sector.

Who Can Apply?
UTME Candidates
You’re eligible if:
- You chose UNIMED as your first choice in JAMB and scored 150 or above.
- Or you’re ready to switch UNIMED to your first choice.
UTME Subject Requirements:
- English, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics (for health-related courses).
- For courses like Computer Science, Chemistry, and Physics, replace Biology with Mathematics.
O’Level Requirements:
- Five (5) credits in English, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics from WAEC, NECO, or GCE.
- Only one sitting is accepted for Medicine, Dentistry, and Physiotherapy.
- Two sittings maximum for other courses.
Direct Entry Candidates
You’re eligible if:
- You selected UNIMED as your first choice, or you’re ready to switch.
- You have at least 10 points from A’Level, JUPEB, IJMB, ND, HND, or a first degree.
- Your O’Level must still meet the course requirements.
Important:
All Direct Entry applicants must:
- Send their academic transcript to: The Registrar, UNIMED, Laje Road Campus, Ondo City
- And also email a copy to: [email protected]
You won’t be considered if your transcript is not received.
How to Apply for UNIMED 2025 Admission
Follow these steps:
- Go to the UNIMED website
- Click on “Admissions”, then select the Post-UTME portal.
- Click on “PAYMENT”, and pay using your Naira debit card
- Print your payment receipt from the invoice page
- Use your UTME or DE registration number and payment transaction ID to log in and complete your application
Important Note:
Only pay via the official UNIMED website. Do not pay any agent or third-party platform.
Screening Schedule
UNIMED’s screening exercise will take place on:
- Tuesday, 26th August 2025
- Wednesday, 27th August 2025
- Thursday, 28th August 2025
Venue details and timing will be available in your applicant portal after registration.
What to Bring on Screening Day
- JAMB UTME result slip or Direct Entry registration slip
- Printed copy of your completed screening slip

- Missing the screening automatically cancels your application. No rescheduling!
