UNIMAID Post-UTME & Direct Entry 2025/2026: Everything You Need to Know Before September 11 Deadline

The admission race for 2025/2026 has officially begun at the University of Maiduguri (UNIMAID), and the clock is already ticking. If UNIMAID is your dream school, this is your chance to secure a spot — but you have just one month to act.

From Monday, August 11, 2025, the institution’s online portal will be open for Post-UTME and Direct Entry screening applications. The gate closes Thursday, September 11, 2025, and there will be no extensions, no late-night mercy.

Who is Eligible to Apply?

To avoid wasting your ₦2,000, check these boxes before applying:

  • First Choice Requirement: You must have chosen UNIMAID as your first choice in the 2025 JAMB.
  • UTME Candidates: Minimum score of 150 (note that some courses require higher — check UNIMAID’s official cut-off marks).
  • Direct Entry Candidates: Minimum of Lower Credit at ND/HND or Merit at NCE.
  • O’Level: Five relevant credits (including English & Mathematics) in no more than two sittings.
  • Subject Combination: Correct UTME subjects for your chosen course.
  • Result Upload: O’Level results must be uploaded to your JAMB CAPS profile. Only results from WAEC, NECO, NABTEB portals or certified copies will be accepted.
