UNIMAID Post-UTME & Direct Entry 2025/2026: Everything You Need to Know Before September 11 Deadline
The admission race for 2025/2026 has officially begun at the University of Maiduguri (UNIMAID), and the clock is already ticking. If UNIMAID is your dream school, this is your chance to secure a spot — but you have just one month to act.
From Monday, August 11, 2025, the institution’s online portal will be open for Post-UTME and Direct Entry screening applications. The gate closes Thursday, September 11, 2025, and there will be no extensions, no late-night mercy.
Who is Eligible to Apply?
To avoid wasting your ₦2,000, check these boxes before applying:
- First Choice Requirement: You must have chosen UNIMAID as your first choice in the 2025 JAMB.
- UTME Candidates: Minimum score of 150 (note that some courses require higher — check UNIMAID’s official cut-off marks).
- Direct Entry Candidates: Minimum of Lower Credit at ND/HND or Merit at NCE.
- O’Level: Five relevant credits (including English & Mathematics) in no more than two sittings.
- Subject Combination: Correct UTME subjects for your chosen course.
- Result Upload: O’Level results must be uploaded to your JAMB CAPS profile. Only results from WAEC, NECO, NABTEB portals or certified copies will be accepted.
Screening Fee
- ₦2,000 payable via the Remita platform.
How to Apply
- Visit the UNIMAID website and click the Post-UTME link, or go directly to the UMSTAD Online portal.
- Log in using your JAMB Registration Number as username and
unimaid@2025as password. - Upload a recent passport photo (max 200KB) and select your course of study.
- Enter your phone number and email, then click Generate to make payment.
- Fill in your bio-data, O’Level/Advanced Level results, and upload all required documents.
- Review and submit your application.
