UNILAG DLI Releases 2nd Batch Admission List for 2025/2026 as Screening Begins January 12
The Distance Learning Institute (DLI) of the University of Lagos (UNILAG) has officially released the Second Batch admission list for the 2025/2026 academic session, opening a critical window for thousands of applicants hoping to secure a place in one of Nigeria’s most competitive distance learning programmes.

Candidates must appear with original copies of the following documents:
- Application Form
- Testimonial (Primary or Secondary)
- O’ Level Certificate(s)
- Higher Degree Certificates for Direct Entry candidates (HND, OND, NCE, ICAN or other professional certificates)
- NYSC Certificate, Exemption or Exclusion Letter (Direct Entry only)
- Birth Certificate or Sworn Affidavit (must predate the admission advertisement)
- Marriage Certificate, Affidavit for Change of Name & Newspaper Publication (married female applicants only)
Applicants are advised to arrange their documents neatly to avoid delays during verification.

After paying the required fees, admitted students must present the following for registration:
- Application Form
- Coloured Admission Letter
- Testimonial (photocopy)
- Student Information Form
- O’ Level Certificate(s) (photocopy)
- Higher Degree Certificates for Direct Entry
- NYSC Certificate / Exemption / Exclusion Letter
- Online Generated Letter of Acceptance
- Online Generated Biodata Form
- Online Course Registration Form (approved by Course Adviser)
- Handwritten Letter of Preparedness to Pay All Service Charges
- Reference Letter from Employer or Sponsor (Original)
- Reference Letter from a Lawyer, Clergy, Imam, or Senior Civil Servant
- Online Generated Student Payment Receipt
- Marriage Certificate, Affidavit & Newspaper Publication (if applicable)
- Birth Certificate or Sworn Affidavit
- Four (4) Passport Photographs with white background (name and matric number written at the back)
- JAMB Slip
One-Month Deadline — Don’t Miss It
UNILAG has issued a clear warning:
Any candidate who fails to appear for screening within one month risks forfeiting the admission.
This means delay could cost you the entire offer.
