UNIJOS Extends 2025/2026 Post-UTME & Direct Entry Screening: Full Guidelines, Cut-Off Marks, and Registration Steps

The University of Jos (UNIJOS) has officially announced an extension of its online screening exercise for the 2025/2026 academic session, giving more time for candidates who applied through both the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and Direct Entry (DE) via the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) to complete their registration.

The online portal will now remain open from August 18 to October 9, 2025, providing applicants an extended window to apply, verify details, and upload required documents.

Who Is Eligible for the UNIJOS Screening?

According to the University, only candidates who selected UNIJOS as their first choice during JAMB registration are eligible for the screening.

To qualify:

  • UTME candidates must score a minimum of 180, though some programmes require higher scores.
  • Direct Entry applicants must pay the prescribed screening fee and complete their online forms.
  • O’level results must be uploaded on JAMB CAPS before registration; otherwise, the system will not recognize the candidate.

Start early. Finish well. Avoid last-minute rush and network issues — your admission journey depends on it
