UNIABUJA Opens 2026/2027 Part-Time Degree Admission — Here’s How to Apply

The University of Abuja (UNIABUJA) has officially opened its admission portal for the 2026/2027 Face-to-Face Part-Time Degree Programmes under its Centre for Distance Learning and Continuing Education (CDL\&CE). This program is tailor-made for working professionals and others who need a flexible academic schedule while maintaining their daily responsibilities.

Who Can Apply?

You qualify if you meet any of the following routes:

O’Level Route:

  • Five (5) credit passes including English and Mathematics in not more than two sittings (WAEC, NECO, NABTEB).

A-Level Route:

  • Two A-Level passes and at least two O’Level credits in relevant subjects.

Direct Entry Route:

  • Four O’Level credits including English and Mathematics
    Plus any of the following:
  • Two A-Level passes
  • National Diploma (Upper Credit)
  • IJMB with at least 10 points
  • Five (5) O’Level credits

Programme Duration & Structure

  • Duration: 4–5 years depending on entry qualification
  • Format: Physical classes held only on weekends at UNIABUJA
  • Ideal for: Workers, business owners, busy parents — anyone needing a balance between learning and life

Step-by-Step: How to Apply

1. Start with JAMB

  • Apply via the JAMB e-facility platform to get a registration number.
  • Your name must appear on the UNIABUJA CAPS dashboard.

2. Visit the UNIABUJA CDL\&CE Portal

  • Go to: cdlce.uniabuja.edu.ng
  • Click “CLICK HERE TO APPLY” and follow instructions.
  • Select your study mode (Face-to-Face or ODL).
  • Click “APPLY” to begin.

3. Create Your Profile

  • Fill in your personal details.
  • Set up an account.

4. Make Your Payment

  • Generate a Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR).
  • Pay a non-refundable application fee of ₦20,000 through Remita (online or at any bank).
    Note: Bank charges are not included.

5. Complete the Application

  • After payment, you’ll receive an application number.
  • Log in using that number and your surname to complete your application.

Application Fee

₦20,000 only (excluding bank charges). Full payment is required.


Deadline

Applications will close on Tuesday, September 30, 2025. Don’t wait till the last minute.
