UDUSOK Sets Feb 25 Deadline for JAMB Admission Letter Printing Ahead of 2025/2026 Matriculation
The Management of Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto (UDUSOK) has issued an urgent directive to all newly admitted and Inter-Faculty Transfer students for the 2025/2026 academic session, warning that failure to print their JAMB Admission Letter on or before 25 February 2026 will automatically disqualify them from matriculation.
The notice, released by the Office of the Registrar, is anchored on Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) regulations and the university’s admission guidelines. It comes as UDUSOK confirms 25 February 2026 as the official date for its matriculation ceremony.
Matriculation Date Is Fixed
UDUSOK has formally scheduled its 2025/2026 matriculation ceremony for Tuesday, 25 February 2026. The university stressed that this date is non-negotiable and serves as the final deadline for completing all admission requirements related to JAMB.
Before any student can be formally matriculated, the university insists that such a student must be fully compliant with the Central Admissions Processing System (CAPS).
Who This Directive Applies To
According to the Registrar’s office, the directive affects the following categories of students:
- Newly admitted students for the 2025/2026 academic session
- Inter-Faculty Transfer students (students who have changed programmes or faculties)
What Affected Students Must Do Before Feb 25, 2026
UDUSOK has outlined clear steps that students must follow. The university warned that there will be no shortcuts.
1. Resolve Any JAMB Letter Mismatch
Students whose Admission Confirmation Letter does not match their JAMB Admission Letter are required to immediately visit a JAMB office to correct the discrepancy. Any unresolved mismatch will invalidate the admission process.
2. Print and Verify the Original JAMB Admission Letter
All affected students must print and properly verify their original JAMB Admission Letter on or before 25 February 2026. This document is compulsory for matriculation.
Consequences of Non-Compliance
The university made its position clear: no JAMB Admission Letter means no matriculation. Any student who fails to comply will:
- Not be included in the official Matriculation List
- Not be assigned a Matriculation Number
- Not be recognised as a bona fide student of UDUSOK
In effect, such a student will have no official status within Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto.
Final Warning from the Registrar
The Registrar’s office urged all affected students to comply strictly with this directive to avoid complications that could jeopardise their admission. UDUSOK emphasized that the JAMB Admission Letter is not optional but a core requirement for institutional recognition.
