UCH Ibadan Opens Admission for 2025/2026 Nurse, Midwife, and Public Health Tutors’ Programme
The University College Hospital (UCH), Ibadan, has officially announced the opening of applications for its Nurse, Midwife, and Public Health Nurse Tutors’ Programme for the 2025/2026 academic session. This prestigious programme awards a Postgraduate Diploma in Nursing Education (PGDNE)—a key qualification for nurses who aspire to become professional educators or advance in nursing leadership.

Admission Requirements
Educational Qualifications
- Five credits at WASCE or GCE O-Level in one sitting, or six credits at not more than two sittings.
- Compulsory subjects: English Language, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and Mathematics.
Professional Qualifications
- Registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN).
- A first degree in Nursing is mandatory.
- A valid practising licence issued by NMCN.
- At least two years of post-qualification experience (preferred but not compulsory).
How to Apply
Applications must be submitted through the University of Ibadan Postgraduate College portal. Follow these steps:
- Visit the Postgraduate College portal
- Create a profile as a new applicant and enter personal details.
- Confirm the security code provided.
- Check your email for login details.
- Log in with the username and password sent to your email.
- Choose Faculty of Clinical Sciences → Department of Nursing → PGDNE Programme.
- Generate an invoice and pay the ₦18,000 application fee using a MasterCard.
Important: All applicants will undergo an English proficiency test and an interactive session. Dates for these assessments will be announced later.

- All costs, including tuition and personal upkeep, are the responsibility of candidates or their sponsors.
- UCH will not provide financial support for admitted students.
