Courses Available and Programme Duration
UBTH’s programmes are structured across Certificate, Diploma, National Diploma (ND), and Higher National Diploma (HND) levels. Most do not require JAMB, making it more accessible for prospective students.

- Anaesthetic Technician Training – 3 years

Eligibility Requirements: Who Can Apply?
To be considered for admission, candidates must meet the following criteria:
For All Programmes
- Minimum of five (5) O’Level credits in WAEC, NECO, or GCE (not more than two sittings), including:
- English Language
- Mathematics
- Biology (or Health Science for some programmes)
- Chemistry
- Physics
For ND Applicants
- A minimum score of 150 in the 2025 JAMB UTME is required.
- For Biomedical Engineering, a background in technical subjects like Technical Drawing, Basic Electricity, or Auto Mechanics is advantageous.
For HND Applicants
- Must meet the same O’Level requirements as above
- Must possess an ND certificate (minimum of Lower Credit) from an NBTE-accredited institution
- At least one year of relevant work experience
- Must present a valid professional license

Application forms are available online via the official UBTH Remita portal. Here’s the breakdown of application fees:
- Diploma, Certificate, and HND Applicants – ₦12,000
- ND (Post-UTME) Applicants – ₦2,000

- Print the application form
- Submit your completed form to the Registrar’s Office before the screening date
