TASFUED Releases 2025/2026 Registration & Clearance Guidelines for New Students

The Admissions Office of Tai Solarin Federal University of Education (TASFUED) has released the official registration and clearance procedures for students admitted for the 2025/2026 academic session.

The guidelines aim to help both UTME and Direct Entry candidates understand the documents required to ensure a smooth and efficient start to university life.

Required Registration and Clearance Documents

Students must present the following items during clearance:

Core Requirements:

  • Original clearance certificate signed and stamped by the Head of Department.
  • Original JAMB Admission Letter issued for TASFUED.
  • Direct Entry candidates must provide JAMB Admission Letter for OND, NCE, HND, or equivalent qualifications.
  • Original TASFUED Admission Consideration Letter.
  • Original 2025/2026 UTME or Direct Entry Application Form.
  • Receipt of application form payment (₦2,000).
  • Original JAMB result slip (UTME) or JAMB acknowledgement form (Direct Entry).
  • Stamped photocopies of acceptance, school, and registration fee receipts.
  • Verified copies of all O-Level results.
  • Transition letters or notifications from Pre-Degree, JUPEB, OND, NCE, HND, IJMB, ANBC, or ANTC as applicable.
  • Certificates of higher qualifications (Direct Entry candidates, 2021 and earlier).
  • Transcript of NCE or OND (Direct Entry).
  • Evidence of name change or marriage certificate, if applicable.
  • Original medical fitness certificate from the TASFUED Clinic.
  • Birth certificate or sworn age declaration.
  • Confirmed 2025 Ogun State electronic tax clearance certificate (from Ijebu-Ode or Odogbolu tax offices).
  • Reference letter from a public or civil servant not below Grade Level 12.
  • Original acceptance form and matriculation oath record.
  • Secondary school testimonial and certificate of origin from the student’s Local Government Area.
  • Orientation certificate.

Special Notes for Direct Entry Students

Direct Entry candidates should carefully present higher qualifications, transcripts, and only records from approved years of completion. Incomplete or unverified documents will not be accepted.

Students are advised to organize and secure all documents before reporting to the clearance desk. Presenting complete records ensures faster verification, minimizes delays, and marks the formal start of academic life at TASFUED.
