- Visit the JAMB eFacility portal.
- Log in with your JAMB email and password.
- Click on “Check Admission Status.”
- Select “Access My CAPS.”
- Tap “Admission Status” to see your result.
Understanding JAMB Admission Status Messages
When checking your status, the system may return one of several responses. Here’s what each means in simple terms:
- Admission Offered: Congratulations! JAMB has approved your admission. You can now accept or reject it.
- Admission in Progress (AIP): The school has recommended you, but JAMB is still processing approval.
- Recommended: Your admission is pending JAMB’s final confirmation.
- Not Admitted: No offer yet. It could mean the school hasn’t sent your name or your application wasn’t successful this round.
- Pending: Your file is still under review. Nothing final yet.
What to Do After Getting Admission
If your status reads “Admission Offered,” you must:
- Send ACCEPT or REJECT as a text to 55019 or 66019 using your registered JAMB number.
- Print your JAMB Admission Letter, which is required for clearance and registration at TSU.
