Sani Bello Foundation 2026 Scholarship Opens for Zone C Students in Niger State
The Sani Bello Foundation has officially announced its 2026 scholarship programme for eligible indigenes of Zone C, Niger State. Interested students are urged to submit their applications online by January 31, 2026 and complete in-person screening by March 1, 2026.
This scholarship targets full-time 200-level students in Nigerian public tertiary institutions who meet specific academic and eligibility criteria.
Eligibility Requirements
To qualify for the Sani Bello Foundation Scholarship 2026, applicants must meet all the following conditions:
- Zone C Indigene: Must be an indigene of Zone C, Niger State, either by birth, origin, or having parents/guardians residing in Kontagora for 15 years or more.
- School Enrolment: Must be enrolled in a recognised public tertiary institution in Nigeria.
- Full-Time Study Only: Part-time students are not eligible.
- Public Schools Only: Students from private or foreign schools are not eligible.
- Academic Level: Must be in 200 Level (second year) at the time of application.
- O-Level Results: Minimum of five (5) credits in WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB, including English and Mathematics, achieved in a maximum of two sittings.
- GPA Requirement: Minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Employment Status: Civil servants are not eligible.
Required Documents (Original Copies)
Applicants must have the original copies of the following:
- Birth Certificate or Declaration of Age
- Local Government Indigene Letter
- O-Level Result
- Secondary School Testimonial
- Transcript or Result Statement, duly signed and stamped, showing the previous session’s CGPA
Missing pages or incomplete documents may result in disqualification.
Screening Submission Requirements (In-Person)
For the screening process, applicants must submit copies of the above documents in person, along with:
- Online registration printout
- Admission Letter
- School Identity printout or valid ID
- Photocopy of departmental course registration forms
Deadline for submission: March 1, 2026. Screening will commence immediately after submission.
