Saisa University Guides UTME Candidates on Correct JAMB Admission Process
Saisa University of Medical Sciences and Technology has issued an official public notice to clarify the correct procedure for candidates seeking admission into the institution through the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB).
The university said the notice became necessary following a high volume of enquiries from prospective students who are unsure about the right steps to take on the JAMB portal. According to the management, failure to follow the correct order could lead to errors that may affect a candidate’s admission chances.
The guidelines apply to all UTME candidates seeking admission into the Sokoto campus of Saisa University of Medical Sciences and Technology.
What Candidates Must Know
In a statement released by the institution, Saisa University explained that candidates must complete two compulsory steps on the JAMB portal before they can be considered for admission.
“These steps must be done correctly and in the right order to avoid complications,” the university emphasized.
How to Apply to Saisa University of Medical Sciences and Technology
Step 1: Upload O’Level Result on the JAMB Portal
Prospective candidates are required to visit any JAMB Office or an accredited JAMB CBT Centre.
At the centre, candidates must ensure their O’Level results (WAEC, NECO, or equivalent) are properly uploaded to the JAMB portal. This step is mandatory and forms the foundation of the admission process.
Without O’Level result upload, JAMB will not process admission for any candidate.
Step 2: Choose Saisa University as First Choice
After successfully uploading the O’Level result, candidates should log in to their JAMB profile and select Saisa University of Medical Sciences and Technology, Sokoto, as their first choice institution.
The university stressed that choosing it as a first choice is required for admission consideration and further processing.
