Sa’adu Zungur University (SAZU) Opens 2025/2026 Online Screening
Sa’adu Zungur University (SAZU), formerly known as Bauchi State University, has officially opened its online screening portal for the 2025/2026 academic session.
If you selected SAZU as your first choice in the 2025 UTME and scored 150 or above, this is your opportunity to take the next step toward admission.

Who Can Apply?
To be eligible for the SAZU screening exercise, candidates must meet the following requirements:
UTME Candidates:
- Scored at least 150 in the 2025 UTME
- Obtained a minimum of five (5) O’Level credits, including English and Mathematics, in no more than two sittings
- Sat for the correct UTME subject combinations for their chosen course
Direct Entry (DE) Candidates:
- At least 7 points in IJMB or NCE, or
- Lower credit in ND
For Those Awaiting Results
If your O’Level results are not yet released, simply choose “AWAITING RESULT” when filling out the form.
Once your result is available, you’ll be required to present it during the physical screening phase.
When Does Screening Start?
The online screening officially began on Friday, July 11, 2025.
There is no announcement yet of the closing date, so early application is strongly advised to avoid last-minute issues.
How to Apply: Step-by-Step
Step 1: Create an Account
Go to the official SAZU Screening Portal or visit the direct screening platform.
Step 2: Make Payment
Pay a non-refundable ₦2,000 screening fee via the portal.
Step 3: Fill the Screening Form
Carefully enter your details. Pay close attention to:
- UTME subject combinations
- Contact information
- O’Level results
Step 4: Submit and Stay Alert
After submission, keep your email and phone line active for further communication from the university.
