Refreshing Point Church Unveils 2025 Education Grant for MOUAU and ABSU Students
A targeted support programme offering tuition aid and N50,000 stipends to reward excellence and ease school expenses
In a major push to support young scholars facing rising educational costs, The Refreshing Point (TRP)—the Youth Campus Church of Streams of Joy International—has launched the Refreshing Point Church Education Grant 2025.
Designed to reward academic excellence and cushion the financial pressures on students, the initiative offers both tuition coverage and a one-time stipend of N50,000 to eligible undergraduates.
This year’s grant focuses on students of Michael Okpara University of Agriculture, Umudike (MOUAU) and Abia State University, Umuahia Campus, creating a targeted and supportive academic network within the TRP community.
What the 2025 Education Grant Offers
The grant provides two levels of financial support:
- Full-year tuition coverage + N50,000 stipend
- 50% tuition coverage + N50,000 stipend
Regardless of category, all selected students receive the same N50,000 one-time support, which can be used for books, materials, transport, and other school essentials.
TRP leaders say the programme is meant to reward diligence, ease financial pressure, and inspire students to remain focused on academic excellence and personal discipline.
Why TRP Supports Student Learning
According to church representatives, education lies at the heart of TRP’s mission to build disciplined, responsible, and faith-driven young adults.
Many students juggle tuition fees with rent, feeding, transport, and textbooks—often without stable support.
By stepping in with this grant, the church aims to send a strong message: hard work is seen, valued, and celebrated.
The initiative also strengthens the bond between young people and their campus church community, encouraging them to stay engaged, hopeful, and academically motivated.
