PLASU Opens 2025 Remedial Science Admission: A Golden Second Chance for JAMB Candidates
If the last JAMB UTME didn’t go your way or you didn’t get into your dream course, don’t give up just yet. Plateau State University (PLASU), Bokkos, has officially opened applications for its Remedial Science Programme for the 2025/2026 academic session.
This programme is specially designed to help students like you reset, prepare stronger, and qualify for 100-level admission into top science-based courses — including Medicine, Pharmacy, and Environmental Sciences — in the next academic year.
Who Can Apply for the PLASU Remedial Science Programme?
The admission requirements are quite simple and student-friendly. To be eligible, you must have at least three credits from the following subjects:
- Mathematics
- Physics
- Chemistry
- English Language
- Biology
- Geography
- Technical Drawing
Tip: The more relevant credits you have, the better your academic readiness.
What Happens After the Programme?

If you complete the remedial programme and pass the 2026 JAMB UTME with a score that meets PLASU’s cut-off mark, you’ll gain direct entry into 100 level in one of the following science faculties:
- Faculty of Natural and Applied Sciences
- Faculty of Environmental Sciences
- Faculty of Health Sciences
- Faculty of Agricultural Sciences
- Faculty of Pharmacy
- College of Medicine

Important Location and Accommodation Info
Classes will be held at Obasanjo Model School ‘A’ in Hwolshe, Jos South LGA — not on the main PLASU campus in Bokkos.
Also note: Accommodation is not provided. Students are expected to arrange their own housing within Jos. Don’t worry though — there are plenty of affordable options if you explore early.
