NSUK Extends 2025 Post-UTME Application Deadline: New Closing Date, Requirements, and How to Apply
If you’re still struggling with your 2025 Post-UTME registration at Nasarawa State University, Keffi (NSUK), here’s some good news: the university has officially extended the application deadline by two weeks.
Originally scheduled to close on Friday, August 29, 2025, the registration portal will now remain open until Friday, September 12, 2025.
The university management explained that the extension was introduced to help candidates facing issues such as:
- Change of course or institution,
- NECO token problems,
- And other registration-related challenges.
According to NSUK, the move is a “gracious gesture” to ensure no qualified candidate misses out on securing admission for the 2025/2026 academic session.
Who Can Apply?
UTME Candidates
You’re eligible if you:
- Picked NSUK as your first choice in JAMB.
- Scored the following in UTME:
- 200 and above for Law and Community Health Sciences,
- 180 for Health Info Management, Nutrition, Dietetics, Environmental Health, Civil, Chemical, Electrical, and Computer Engineering,
- 170 and above for all other courses.
- Have at least five O’Level credits (including English and Mathematics) in WAEC, NECO, NABTEB, or NBAIS, not more than two sittings.
- Uploaded your O’Level results to your JAMB profile.
Bonus: French applicants don’t need Maths or French at O’Level.
Direct Entry (DE) Candidates
You qualify if you have:
- At least Lower Credit in ND or NSUK Diploma,
- Or Merit in NCE,
- Or 8 Points in IJMB,
- Plus five O’Level credits, including English and Mathematics.
- Uploaded your results to JAMB CAPS.
Candidates for Community Health, Environmental Health, or Health Info Management must also be licensed by their professional body.
Step-by-Step: How to Apply for NSUK Post-UTME 2025
- Visit the NSUK 2025 Post-UTME Portal
- Create a profile using a valid email and password.
- Select 2025/2026 POST-UTME application.
- Log in with your details.
- Pay the ₦2,000 screening fee.
- Enter your O’Level scratch card details (WAEC, NECO, NABTEB, NBAIS).
- Submit your application.
- Wait 24 hours, then check back for your result.
- Print your application summary and payment slip.
Important: Use your own phone number. That’s how NSUK will contact you.
Important Screening Notes
- No physical test – but the online screening is mandatory.
- If you skip it, you lose your admission chance.
- Uploading results to JAMB CAPS at a CBT centre is compulsory.
Admission Offers: Accept or Lose It
If you’re offered admission, you’ll have 4 weeks to accept it on JAMB CAPS.
- Fail to do so? NSUK cancels the offer.
- You’ll be tagged as “refused to accept” and blocked from reapplying.
