NNPC/NAOC/OANDO Joint Venture Announces Tertiary Scholarship Scheme for 2024
The Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC), in collaboration with Nigeria Agip Oil Company (NAOC) and OANDO Plc, under the NNPC/NAOC/OANDO Joint Venture (JV), has announced the commencement of its Tertiary Scholarship Scheme for the 2023/2024 and 2024/2025 academic sessions. This scholarship program is designed to support talented and deserving Nigerian students in their pursuit of higher education.
The NNPC/NAOC/OANDO JV Tertiary Scholarship Scheme is a demonstration of the joint venture’s commitment to human capital development and its dedication to empowering the next generation of leaders in various fields of study. Eligibility Criteria: To be eligible for the NNPC/NAOC/OANDO JV Tertiary Scholarship Scheme, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Be a Nigerian citizen.
- Be a current undergraduate or postgraduate student in an accredited Nigerian university or polytechnic.
- Have a minimum CGPA of 3.5 on a 5.0 scale or its equivalent for undergraduate students, and a minimum CGPA of 4.0 on a 5.0 scale or its equivalent for postgraduate students.
- Be studying a course related to the oil and gas industry, such as Engineering, Geosciences, Environmental Sciences, or other relevant disciplines.
- Demonstrate financial need and academic excellence.
Scholarship Benefits: Successful recipients of the NNPC/NAOC/OANDO JV Tertiary Scholarship Scheme will receive the following benefits:
