NIPORT 2025 Admission: Post-UTME Registration Begins for Eligible Candidates
The University of Port Harcourt (UNIPORT) has officially opened its Post-UTME registration portal for the 2025/2026 academic session. If you made UNIPORT your first choice in the 2025 UTME and scored 150 or above, this is your cue to take action.
The registration window is Friday, July 11 to Thursday, July 31, 2025. If you miss the deadline, there’s no second chance — the portal closes at midnight.
Who Can Apply?
To be eligible, candidates must:
- Choose UNIPORT as first choice in JAMB
- Score at least 150 in the 2025 UTME
- Be 16 years or older by September 2025
- Upload O’Level results to JAMB CAPS
- Ensure their names match across all documents

Step-by-Step: How to Apply for UNIPORT 2025 Post-UTME
Step 1: Visit the Portal
Go to the UNIPORT UTME portal and enter your UTME registration number to verify your details.
Step 2: Pay ₦2,000 Application Fee
You can pay using any of these two options:
- Online Payment: Generate a Remita code and pay with your Verve, Visa, or MasterCard.
- Bank Payment: Print your payment slip and pay at any of the following banks:
- Access Bank
- Ecobank
- Fidelity Bank
- First Bank
- FCMB
- UBA
- UNIPORT-Choba Microfinance Bank
Make sure to collect your Remita receipt and access code from the bank teller or portal.
Step 3: Complete Your Application (from July 14)
Return to the portal with your UTME number and access code. Fill out the form accurately.
- Still waiting for your O’Level result? Tick the appropriate box. Just be truthful.
When done, click Submit and print your Registration Slip. You’ll need it for the screening.
What You Shouldn’t Miss
- No late registration — the portal closes July 31.
- No SMS updates — screening timetable will be published on UNIPORT website
- Online only — do not visit the campus for registration.
- Use your own phone number and email — that’s how the school will contact you.
- No gadgets allowed — phones, smartwatches, or iPads are banned near the test venue.
- Parents and guardians are not allowed on campus during screening days.
