Nile University Announces 2025/2026 Scholarships & Tuition Discounts

The university has officially released its updated scholarships and tuition discount packages for both undergraduate and postgraduate students—and some of the offers cover up to 100% of your fees!

UNDERGRADUATE SCHOLARSHIPS (Excluding Law & Medicine)
Nile offers academic scholarships to students applying to any programme except Law and Medicine, and it’s based on your performance in JAMB, WAEC/NECO, or A-Level exams.
By JAMB Score
- 330+ with 5 A1s – ???? 100% scholarship
- 300 – 329 – 30%
- 275 – 299 – 20%
- 250 – 274 – 10%
By WAEC/NECO Results
- 5 A1s, including Maths, English, and 3 core subjects relevant to your course – 10%
Note: Only internal WAEC/NECO results from the year of admission are valid. External or combined results are not accepted.
By A-Level Results
From Nile’s School of Preliminary Studies (SPS):
- 3 A’s – 25%
- 2 A’s – 15%
From other schools:
- 3 A’s – 20%
- 2 A’s – 10%
POSTGRADUATE SCHOLARSHIPS
Nile University alumni are eligible for postgraduate scholarships:
- First-Class Graduates – 50% off for Master’s or PGD
- Other Graduates of Nile – 20%
- Returning Postgrad Alumni – 20%
SPORTS SCHOLARSHIPS
If you have proven sports talent at national or professional level, and you’re applying for undergraduate studies, you could earn a 100% scholarship—but you must commit to representing the university and secure Board of Trustees approval.
GENERAL SCHOLARSHIP RULES
- Valid only for first-year applicants
- Must apply with same-year results
- Hostel fees not included
- Maintain a minimum CGPA of 3.50 to retain the scholarship
- No misconduct—violation leads to termination
- Scholarships are limited and first-come, first-served
- You can only apply for one scholarship category
TUITION DISCOUNTS
Aside from scholarships, Nile offers fee discounts for specific family and sponsorship situations.
Sibling Discounts
Families with multiple children at Nile get:
- 2 kids – 5%
- 3 kids – 10%
- 4 kids – 15%
- 5+ kids – 20%
Requirements:
- Must share a biological parent
- Not automatic—must apply formally
- Starts from the semester of application and remains active while enrolled
Discounts for Parents Studying Too
Parents of current Nile students enrolling in a postgraduate programme get a 10% discount.
Group Sponsorship Discounts
Organizations sponsoring students enjoy:
- 5–10 students – 10%
- 11–20 students – 15%
- 21+ students – 20%
