Nigerian Army University Biu (NAUB) Opens 2025 Recruitment for Academic and Non-Academic Staff
The Nigerian Army University Biu (NAUB), located in Biu, Borno State, has officially announced its 2025 recruitment exercise for qualified candidates seeking academic and non-academic positions across various faculties and departments.

Academic Positions Available
NAUB seeks qualified applicants to fill teaching and research roles in its faculties. Below are the academic ranks currently open for application:
- Graduate Assistant: Requires a First-Class or Second-Class Upper Division degree.
- Assistant Lecturer: Requires a Master’s degree in a relevant discipline.
- Lecturer II: Requires a Ph.D. or a Master’s degree with professional experience and certifications.
- Lecturer I: Requires a Ph.D. with at least 5 publications and 3 years of experience, or a Master’s degree with 7 publications and 5 years of experience.
- Senior Lecturer: Requires a Ph.D., 10 publications, and a minimum of 6 years of cognate experience.
- Associate Professor: Requires a Ph.D., 15 publications (lead author in at least 5), and 9 years of academic experience.
- Professor: Requires a Ph.D., 20 publications (lead author in at least 10), and 12 years of teaching and research experience.
Note: All applicants, except for Graduate Assistants, must hold at least a Second-Class Lower degree at the undergraduate level.
