Nigeria Police Academy (POLAC) Releases Full Screening Schedule for 12th Regular Course 2025

The Nigeria Police Academy (POLAC), Wudil–Kano, has officially released the full schedule for its highly anticipated screening exercise for the 12th Regular Course admission. The process, which kicks off on Monday, October 6, 2025, is a crucial step for thousands of applicants hoping to secure a place in the academy.

What the Screening Exercise Involves

The screening is more than just a formality. Candidates will face:

  • Computer-Based Test (CBT)
  • Medical examinations
  • Physical screening
  • Selection Board Interview

The Nigeria Police Academy has organized the exercise in batches, based strictly on state of origin. Candidates are expected to appear only on their allotted date—no earlier, no later.

  • Batch 1 (Oct. 6, 2025): Abia, Adamawa, Akwa Ibom, Anambra, Bauchi (Batch A)
  • Batch 2 (Oct. 7, 2025): Bauchi (Batch B), Bayelsa, Benue, Borno (Batch A)
  • Batch 3 (Oct. 8, 2025): Borno (Batch B), Cross River, Delta, Ebonyi, Edo (Batch A)
  • Batch 4 (Oct. 9, 2025): Edo (Batch B), Ekiti, Enugu, FCT-Abuja, Gombe, Imo, Jigawa (Batch A)
  • Batch 5 (Oct. 10, 2025): Jigawa (Batch B), Kaduna, Kano (Batch A)
  • Batch 6 (Oct. 11, 2025): Kano (Batch B), Katsina, Kebbi, Kogi (Batch A)
  • Batch 7 (Oct. 12, 2025): Kogi (Batch B), Kwara, Lagos, Nasarawa, Niger, Ogun (Batch A)
  • Batch 8 (Oct. 13, 2025): Ogun (Batch B), Ondo, Osun, Oyo, Plateau (Batch A)
  • Batch 9 (Oct. 14, 2025): Plateau (Batch B), Rivers, Sokoto, Taraba, Yobe (Batch A)
  • Batch 10 (Oct. 15, 2025): Yobe (Batch B), Zamfara

The Academy has stressed that candidates who miss their scheduled date will not be entertained.

Mandatory Requirements for Screening

Applicants must present both originals and photocopies of the following documents:

  • Primary School Leaving Certificate
  • WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB results
  • JAMB Result Slip
  • Birth Certificate or Age Declaration
  • Local Government Indigene Certificate
  • Identification Letter
  • Completed Guarantor’s Form
  • Medical Fitness Report from a Government Hospital
  • National Identification Number (NIN) Slip
  • Four recent passport photographs
  • Application Acknowledgement Slip (printed from the POLAC Admission Portal)

Official Dress Code

To ensure orderliness and easy identification, all candidates must dress in:

  • White T-shirt
  • White shorts
  • White socks
  • White canvas shoes

Warning Against Fake Information

The Nigeria Police Academy has cautioned applicants to rely only on official announcements via the POLAC Admission Portal. Several fake social media accounts have been flagged for impersonating official channels to mislead candidates.
