Niger Delta University (NDU) Releases 2025/2026 School Fees Schedule for New Students

The management of Niger Delta University (NDU) has officially released the approved school fees structure for newly admitted undergraduate students for the 2025/2026 academic session.

The announcement provides a detailed breakdown of general levies, tuition differences for Bayelsa and non-Bayelsa students, as well as faculty-specific bench fees that reflect the varying costs of academic resources and practical training.


General Levies for All Faculties

Every undergraduate, whether an indigene of Bayelsa or from outside the state, will pay the same base levies, with the exception of tuition fees. Bayelsa indigenes enjoy a full tuition waiver, while non-Bayelsa students are required to pay ₦50,000.

The general levies include:

  • Registration levy – ₦5,000
  • Library levy – ₦5,000
  • Development levy – ₦25,000
  • Student handbook levy – ₦5,000
  • General maintenance levy – ₦10,000
  • Sports levy – ₦6,000
  • Examination levy – ₦5,000
  • Equipment maintenance levy – ₦5,000
  • Medical levy – ₦12,000
  • Medical examination levy – ₦5,000
  • Certificate verification levy – ₦5,000
  • Identification card levy – ₦5,000
  • ICT levy – ₦5,000
  • Caution levy – ₦5,000
  • Tuition – ₦0 (Bayelsa) | ₦50,000 (Non-Bayelsa)
  • Assessors levy – ₦5,000

  • Bayelsa students – ₦108,000
  • Non-Bayelsa students – ₦158,000

Faculty-Specific Bench Levies

Beyond the general levies, some faculties attract additional bench fees to cover laboratory equipment, research, and other specialized resources.

    • Bench levy: ₦50,000

  • Law
    • Bench levy: ₦30,000

  • Engineering
    • Bench levy: ₦20,000

  • Management Sciences, Social Sciences, Arts, Agriculture, Education & Science

Note: Students admitted into Biochemistry under Basic Medical Sciences will be charged according to the Faculty of Science’s fee schedule.
