Niger Delta University (NDU) Releases 2025/2026 Admission List — Here’s How to Check Your Status

The long wait is finally over! Niger Delta University (NDU) has officially released its admission list for the 2025/2026 academic session. Thousands of hopeful applicants who took part in the Post-UTME screening can now confirm whether they’ve been offered admission.

For many JAMB candidates, this moment marks a turning point — a mix of excitement and anxiety. If you applied to NDU, here’s a complete step-by-step guide on how to check your admission status, what each response on JAMB CAPS means, and what to do next if you’ve been admitted.

How to Check NDU Admission Status on JAMB CAPS

Gone are the days of rushing to school notice boards. Admission checking is now fully online through the JAMB CAPS (Central Admission Processing System). Follow these steps carefully:

  1. Visit the JAMB EFacility portal
  2. Log in with your JAMB username and password.
  3. Scroll down and click Check Admission Status.
  4. Select Access my CAPS.
  5. Click on Admission Status to see if you’ve been offered a place at NDU.

Mobile Users Tip: If you only see a welcome page, switch your browser to Desktop Mode. Google Chrome usually works best — just go to your browser settings and enable “Request Desktop Site.”

What Each Admission Status Means on JAMB CAPS

  • Admission Offered: Congratulations! You’ve been officially admitted. Proceed to accept or reject the offer immediately.
  • Admission in Progress (AIP): Your application is being processed — NDU has forwarded your name and JAMB is finalizing approval.
  • Recommended: NDU has recommended you for admission, but JAMB must still give the final approval.
  • Not Admitted: You haven’t been offered admission yet. Don’t panic — more names are often released in batches.
  • Pending: Your application is still under review. Stay patient and keep checking.

What to Do After You’ve Been Offered Admission

If you’ve received an Admission Offer, take the following steps immediately:

  1. Accept or Reject the admission by sending ACCEPT or REJECT via SMS to 55019 or 66019 using the phone number linked to your JAMB profile.
  2. After accepting, proceed to print your JAMB Admission Letter. This document is very important for clearance and registration at NDU.
  3. Prepare all necessary documents for school clearance — including your WAEC/NECO results, birth certificate, and other credentials.

Final Note

This admission season comes with mixed emotions — joy for some, suspense for others. If your name is on the first batch list, congratulations on officially becoming part of the NDU family. If not yet admitted, don’t lose hope. More lists are usually released in batches, so keep checking.

To all admitted students, welcome to a new journey at Niger Delta University. Your next chapter begins now!
