Who Can Apply?
The NECO 2025 GCE is open to private candidates only, meaning students who are not enrolled in any secondary school. This includes:

Registration Method
Candidates can register online or offline—but all exams will be Computer-Based (CBE) across the 16 available subjects.
What You Need Before Registering

- A valid NIN (National Identification Number)
- A passport photo (taken within the last 6 months on a white background)
- Access to a fingerprint scanner for biometric capture Note: Your fingerprints will be used to verify your identity during the exam. A mismatch could result in disqualification.
