What Is the NECC Diploma in Audiology All About?
This isn’t your typical classroom course. The NECC Diploma in Audiology is a two-year (24-month) hands-on training programme that prepares students to diagnose and manage hearing-related issues.
From conducting hearing tests to assisting with hearing aids, you’ll be trained to make real-life impact — especially in a field that’s becoming more essential by the day.
Who Can Apply? (Admission Requirements)
To be eligible, you must meet the following conditions:
- Minimum of five (5) credit passes in either WAEC, NECO, SSCE, or NABTEB.
- The required subjects are:
- English Language
- Mathematics
- Biology
- Physics
- One additional science subject
- Result combinations are allowed — but not more than two sittings and not more than two different examination bodies (e.g., WAEC & NECO together is fine).
What Happens After Application?
All applicants must go through a screening process, which includes:
- A written entrance exam
- An oral interview

Follow these steps carefully:
- Generate an RRR (Remita Retrieval Reference) in favour of National Ear Care Centre Kaduna.
- Visit any commercial bank and pay the ₦10,000 application fee using the RRR.
- Take the RRR payment receipt to the Accounts Office at NECC.
- Collect your official receipt and proceed to the Coordinator’s Office for the application form.
- Fill out the form, attach all necessary documents, and submit it back to the Coordinator’s Office.

- Start Date: August 1, 2025
- Closing Date: September 30, 2025
