The MSFN Scholarship Offers Financial Aid to Undergraduates and Secondary School Students in Southwestern Nigeria
The Muslim Scholarship Fund in Nigeria (MSFN) has opened applications for its 2025 scholarship programme, aimed at supporting Muslim students from Southwestern Nigeria who are facing financial challenges. The scholarship is available to both undergraduates and secondary school students from Lagos, Ogun, Oyo, Osun, Kwara, Kogi, Ondo, Ekiti, and Edo states.

- Application Period: 6th January – 19th January 2025
- Eligibility Requirements: Applicants must meet specific criteria based on their level of education and financial status.
Who Can Apply?
To be eligible, applicants must be practising Muslims and actively involved in an Islamic organisation such as the Muslim Students’ Society (MSS), the Muslim Students’ Association (MSA), a local mosque, or any dawah group. They must also come from low-income families.
Undergraduate Applicants
- Must be enrolled in a college of education, polytechnic, or university.
- Should have a minimum CGPA of 2.0/4.0, 3.0/5.0, or 60% (for non-GPA systems).
- Must attach the first semester result with the application.
Secondary School Applicants
- Must be in SS2 (Senior Secondary 2).
- Should have at least five credit passes in subjects, including English and Mathematics.
Application Process
- Visit the MSFN Scholarship Portal from 6th January 2025.
- Complete the online application form and attach the required documents.
- Submit your application before the deadline of 19th January 2025.
Shortlisted candidates will be invited for a face-to-face interview as part of the selection process. Only successful applicants will be notified, and students who have previously received the scholarship do not need to reapply.
