MAU Yola Opens ₦30,000 Re-admission, Inter-Departmental Transfer Forms for 2025/2026 Session

Modibbo Adama University (MAU), Yola, has officially opened the sale of re-admission and inter-departmental transfer forms for the 2025/2026 academic session, giving affected students a limited three-week window to apply.

The announcement, issued by the Academic Division of the Office of the Registrar and dated January 10, 2026, sets out clear conditions, deadlines, and payment rules that all applicants must strictly follow.

What the MAU Notice Is About

The university is inviting eligible students to apply for either:

  • Re-admission (for students returning to the university), or
  • Inter-departmental transfer (for students seeking to change their academic department)

However, approval is not automatic. The notice makes it clear that only students who meet the prescribed academic requirements will be approved.

In simple terms: payment alone does not guarantee approval — academic eligibility comes first.

Where to Get the Forms

All interested applicants are required to obtain their forms from the Academic Division of MAU, Yola.

The university linked access to the forms directly to payment, meaning you must first complete payment before collecting or processing the form.

Application Fee and Payment Platform

To apply, candidates must pay:

  • Amount: ₦30,000
  • Status: Non-refundable
  • Payment method: Remita platform (paid directly to Modibbo Adama University)

Once payment is completed, applicants can proceed to fill out their forms and complete the application process.

Strict Submission Deadline

MAU has given applicants three weeks from the date they obtain the form to complete and submit their applications.

The university also issued a firm warning:

Late submissions will not be accepted.

This means any form submitted after the three-week window — no matter the reason — will be rejected.

Instructions to Deans and Heads of Department

The Academic Division also directed all Deans and Heads of Departments to strictly follow the university’s official guidelines when processing applications.

They were instructed to ensure that:

  • Only qualified applicants are approved
  • All re-admission and transfer procedures are followed exactly as laid out by the university

This is meant to ensure fairness, transparency, and academic standards across all faculties.

What Students Should Know

MAU’s message is clear:

  • Paying ₦30,000 does not mean automatic approval
  • You must meet the academic requirements
  • You must submit within three weeks
  • Late or unqualified applications will be rejected

Students interested in re-admission or changing departments are advised to act quickly and carefully.
