MAU Yola Issues Urgent Update to 2025/2026 Admission Candidates
Modibbo Adama University (MAU), Yola, has released an important update for all candidates participating in the 2025/2026 undergraduate admission exercise.
According to the institution, a significant number of candidates whose admissions have already been approved on the JAMB Central Admission Processing System (CAPS) are yet to accept their offers. The university warns that failure to do so could lead to automatic forfeiture of admission slots.
MAU therefore urges all affected candidates to log in to their JAMB CAPS portals and accept their admissions immediately.
Upload Your O’Level Results Now — MAU Warns
In the same notice, the university revealed that several applicants still have no O’Level results uploaded on the JAMB portal — a requirement that must be met before admissions can be finalized.
Candidates are advised to visit any JAMB-accredited CBT centre to upload their O’Level results without delay. This process is vital to complete admission documentation and verification.
Important Advisory for Programme Changes
MAU also cautioned candidates who recently changed their course or programme to check their JAMB CAPS profiles to ensure that such changes did not delete or unset their uploaded O’Level results. Keeping results properly uploaded ensures faster and smoother processing of admissions.
Additionally, staff members who requested admissions for candidates whose names are yet to appear on the admission list are advised to transfer such candidates to departments with available spaces.
JAMB Admission Deadline Approaches
According to the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) policy, all 2025/2026 admission exercises on CAPS will officially close on October 31, 2025.
Candidates applying to oversubscribed programmes such as MBBS, Nursing Science, Computer Science, Microbiology, Civil Engineering, Electrical Electronics Engineering, Law, and Biochemistry are encouraged to switch to related programmes that have available spaces and matching subject combinations.
