Who Can Apply?

- You must be from Uganda, a refugee, a person with a disability, displaced, or any other African country
- You should have already completed a bachelor’s degree from an African university
- You must have applied to join Makerere University’s main campus for the 2025–2026 academic year
- You cannot be a current recipient of another scholarship
- You should not already have completed or be studying a master’s degree
- Evidence of leadership potential or service in your community is required
- Applicants must be under 35 years of age by the application deadline
- If you are a refugee or a person with a disability, you must be under 40 years old by the deadline
- Refugee applicants must have a valid Refugee ID card or Family Attestation
- You must apply for one of the eligible master’s degree programs listed under this scholarship
