MAPOLY Sets January 23 Deadline for 2025/2026 First Semester Registration, Warns of Late Penalties

Moshood Abiola Polytechnic (MAPOLY), Abeokuta, has issued a firm directive to all fresh and returning students to complete their 2025/2026 first semester registration on or before Friday, January 23, 2026, warning that late registration will attract financial penalties.

In an official notice released by the institution’s management, MAPOLY stressed that the directive applies to every category of student, leaving no room for assumptions or exemptions.

“Students and candidates must comply strictly with this instruction,” management said, adding that failure to do so will attract adverse consequences, including additional fees.

What Students Are Required to Do

All affected students are expected to complete their registration online before the deadline. Where applicable, the process includes:

  • Payment of acceptance fee
  • Completion of online registration
  • Payment of school fees

MAPOLY emphasized that all these steps must be concluded on or before January 23, 2026.

Late Registration Penalties

Students who fail to meet the deadline will be required to pay a late registration penalty ranging from ₦5,000 to ₦10,000.

The management cautioned that delays could result in unnecessary financial strain, advising students to avoid spending extra money that could be used for academic materials, transportation, or data.

Matriculation, Oath-Taking, and Exams

MAPOLY also confirmed that key academic activities will proceed as scheduled:

  • Matriculation and Oath-Taking Ceremony will commence as earlier approved by the Academic Board.
  • First Semester Examinations will also begin as previously approved.

Students were advised to complete registration early to avoid last-minute complications that could affect their participation in these activities.
