- Be a Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid qualification
- Have at least five O’level credits including:
- English Language
- Mathematics
- Biology
- Plus Physics and Chemistry (for those who qualified from 2006 onwards)
- Hold a current practising licence from the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN)
- Have at least one year of post-RN work experience

How to Apply Online — Step by Step
- Visit the official LUTH portal at luth.gov.ng/schools
- Select your preferred Post Basic Nursing programme
- Complete the Account Creation Form with accurate personal details and a valid email address
- Check your email for login details
- When ready, click MAKE PAYMENT and follow the instructions on Remita
- Use the provided RRR code to pay the ₦10,000 application fee
- Log back in at luth.gov.ng/profile to finish your application form
- Print the application bio-data sent to your email — this is required for the entrance examination

Applications will close 12 weeks from the date of this announcement. It is strongly advised to apply early to ensure enough time for processing and to prepare for the entrance exam.
