What Is LAUTECH’s Pre-Degree Programme?
The Pre-Degree Science Programme is designed to prepare students for university admission through intensive training and academic development.
- Duration: 6 months of academic sessions
- Followed by: A compulsory 3-month ICT training
- Mode: Full-time and very intensive
Who Can Apply?
To qualify for this programme, you must:
- Have at least five (5) O’Level credits, including English Language and Mathematics
- Accepted exams: WAEC, NECO, GCE, NABTEB
- You can use a maximum of two sittings
- Relevant subjects include:
- English, Maths, Physics, Chemistry, Biology
- Geography, Agric, Economics, Accounting
- Government, Literature, CRS/IRS, Yoruba, and others
How To Apply for LAUTECH Pre-Degree
Follow these simple steps:
- Visit the official LAUTECH Pre-Degree Portal: LAUTECH Pre-Degree portal
- Make a non-refundable payment of ₦15,000 using an Interswitch-enabled debit card
- Fill the online application form carefully
- Upload your passport photograph
- Submit and print your Acknowledgement Slip
Note: Incomplete forms or incorrect information will be rejected.
Deadline for Application
- Final Submission Date: Tuesday, October 7, 2025
- Late applications will not be accepted
Entrance Examination
- Date: Thursday, October 9, 2025
- Time: 9:00 AM
- Venue: LAUTECH ICT Complex (Main Campus)
- Format: Computer-Based Test (CBT)
Admission Into 100-Level Programmes
Admission is not automatic and will depend on:
- Your pre-degree performance
- Availability in your chosen department
- Full participation in the ICT course
- Your score in the 2026 UTME (JAMB)
Yes, you must still sit for JAMB and meet LAUTECH’s cut-off mark.
