LASUTH Opens Admission for Orthopaedic Cast Technology Programme 2025 — See Requirements and How to Apply
Lagos State University Teaching Hospital (LASUTH) has announced the commencement of admissions into its prestigious Orthopaedic Cast Technology programme for the 2025 academic session.
This isn’t just another classroom course — it’s a hands-on medical training that equips students with the skills to become Orthopaedic Cast Technicians, the professionals responsible for applying and managing casts for broken bones. The programme is fully accredited by the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) and leads to the award of a National Diploma (ND) after two years of full-time study.
Who Can Apply?
To be eligible for the LASUTH Orthopaedic Cast Technology programme, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Five (5) O’Level credits including English Language and Mathematics
- At least two science subjects chosen from Biology, Chemistry, or Physics
- Results obtained in not more than two sittings
- A minimum UTME/JAMB score of 130
- Must be 16 years or older

Interested candidates should obtain the application form at the Work Planning and Recruitment Unit, MRC Administrative Building, LASUTH.
When submitting, applicants must attach:
- Photocopies of academic credentials
- A typed Curriculum Vitae (CV)
- Two (2) recent passport photographs with a white background
- UTME result slip
- WAEC/NECO certificate or printout
After submission, candidates will take a Computer-Based Test (CBT) at LASUTH. Successful applicants will then be invited for an oral interview, where original documents must be presented.

The sales and submission of forms will run for six (6) weeks from the date of this announcement. After the deadline, no further applications will be accepted.
