LASU Sandwich Degree Admission at FCES Oyo: Full Guide for 2025 Modular Year
The Lagos State University (LASU), in collaboration with the Federal College of Education (Special), Oyo (FCES Oyo), has officially announced the sale of admission forms for its Sandwich Degree Programmes for the 2025 modular year.
The programme offers opportunities for qualified candidates to pursue flexible undergraduate degrees in Education across multiple disciplines.

LASU-FCES Oyo Admission Requirements
General Entry Requirements
- English Language and Mathematics are compulsory for all candidates.
- Five (5) O’Level Credits or TCII Merit Passes at not more than two sittings.
- Two (2) subjects at A’Level or NCE Merit Passes in relevant areas.
- A University/Polytechnic Diploma (minimum Merit) in relevant areas.
Specific Subject Requirements
- English Major: Credit passes in Literature in English and English Language.
- Economics Major: Credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, and Economics.
- Physical and Health Education, Social Studies, Political Science: At least a credit pass in English Language and Mathematics.
- Health Education Major: Credit pass in English and Mathematics; holders of Staff Registered Nursing/Midwifery Certificates, Diploma in Health Technology, or Advanced Diploma in Sports are eligible.
- Mathematics and Science Majors: Credit passes in both Mathematics and English Language.
Other Acceptable Qualifications
- ICAN (Skill Level), CIS Part II, or equivalents (for Economics).
- Certificates from recognized Arabic institutions (if other requirements are met).
- NCE (Arabic) at Merit level.
- Diploma in Health Education, Environmental Health, Physical Education, Social Work, or Health Administration (Merit level + 3 O’Level Credits including English).
LASU-FCES Oyo Programme Duration
- Four (4) Years: For candidates with NCE (Merit and above) or GCE A’Level (E grade and above).
- Five (5) Years: For candidates with WASC/SSCE/TCII or NCE but short of the four-year entry qualifications.

- Pay the application fee of ₦12,000.00 via the Interswitch payment gateway.
- Complete the form at: lasu.fcesoyo.edu.ng/Admission/Apply.aspx
- Submit a copy of the completed form at the LASU Office, Federal College of Education (Special), Oyo.

The deadline for submission of applications is Friday, December 26, 2025.
