LASU Opens 2025/2026 Online Course Registration: Key Deadlines and Requirements for All Students
Lagos State University (LASU) has officially opened its online course registration portal for full-time undergraduate students for the first semester of the 2025/2026 academic session. The exercise, approved by the Vice-Chancellor, applies to both newly admitted and returning students across Stream 1 and Stream 2.
LASU is urging students to complete all registration steps within the designated window to avoid delays, extra charges, or academic disruptions. The institution stresses that departments need accurate course lists ahead of lectures and examinations, making early compliance essential.
What Students Must Do
The university has outlined a structured process designed to ensure smooth registration and proper departmental planning. All undergraduates are required to complete the following:
- Pay required fees:
• Stream 1: Minimum of 70% school fees
• Stream 2: Minimum of 50% school fees - Complete online course registration via the official portal.
- Add or remove courses during the course operations period if adjustments are needed.
- Print the Course Registration Form or Examination Slip.
- Submit the printed slip for endorsement by the Head of Department (HOD).
Registration Timeline and Penalties
The registration window runs for two weeks, from Wednesday, December 3 to Monday, December 22, 2025.
Students who fail to complete the process within this period will be required to pay a penalty fee determined by the university management.
