LASU Opens 2025/2026 Central Admissions Clearance (LACACA): Full Guide for Fresh Students
The Lagos State University (LASU) has officially launched its Central Admissions Clearance Exercise (LACACA) for the 2025/2026 academic session, and every newly admitted full-time undergraduate student is required to participate.
This clearance is not just another formality — it’s the final step that determines if you will secure your admission or lose it. Successful candidates will be issued a matriculation number, confirming their official status as LASU students. But those who fail to complete the process risk forfeiting their admission.
What You Must Do Before Clearance
Before starting the LASU LACACA process, students must:
- Pay all required fees (acceptance, medical, and clearance fees).
- Use only the official LASU e-payment portal for transactions.
- Keep JAMB registration number, active email, and phone number handy.
Payment Steps:
- Visit the LASU payment portal.
- Enter your JAMB Registration Number in the “Matriculation Number/Application Number” field.
- Provide a valid email and phone number.
- Click Continue to proceed with payment.
Step-by-Step LASU LACACA Process
Once your payments are done, follow these steps:
- Visit the official LASU official website.
- Navigate to the STUDENT tab → select UG LACACA.
- Enter your UTME registration number and surname, then click Submit.

- Indicate disability status (if applicable).
- Upload O’Level scratch card details.
- Upload supporting documents: birth certificate, UTME result, and JAMB admission letter.
- Upload scanned signature.
- Tick the “I Agree” box and click Submit.
At this point, your clearance will show 20% progress, pending LASU officials’ review.
Monitoring Your Clearance Progress

- If corrections are required, payments must be made via the LASU payment portal.
- Once clearance reaches 100%, print your LASU Admission Clearance Certificate and receive your matriculation number.
Key Dates and Deadlines

- Duration: Two weeks only (no extensions).
- Rejected candidates should log in to their portals to see reasons for rejection. Some may be asked to visit the Admissions Office at the LASU Senate Building, Ojo campus.
