LASU Launches Online Admission Clearance for 2024 Sandwich Degree Candidates

Lagos State University (LASU) has officially rolled out an online admission clearance process for students accepted into the 2024 Modular Year Sandwich Degree programme. This marks a significant shift towards simplifying and modernizing the clearance procedure.

Key Steps for Successful Completion

Admitted candidates must complete the clearance through the LASU Central Admissions Clearance Application (LACACA). Once the process is successfully completed, students will receive their matriculation numbers, which are essential for their academic journey.

Failure to Complete Clearance = Forfeiture of Admission

It’s crucial for all admitted students to complete the online clearance process as failure to do so will result in the loss of their admission to LASU.

Step-by-Step Guide to Online Clearance

1. Payment Process:

• Before beginning the clearance, candidates must first pay the required clearance fee via the LASU e-payment portal.
• The clearance fee can be paid after logging into the LASU Consult website, where you will need to provide your Application Number, email address, and phone number.

1. Completing the LACACA Process:

• After payment, visit the LASU’s official website and navigate to the STUDENT tab.
• Select SANDWICH LACACA, then enter your 2024 Modular Year Sandwich Application Number and Surname to proceed.

1. Upload Required Documents:

• Once logged in, candidates will be asked to upload the following documents:
  • Valid personal information
  • O’Level scratch card details
  • Original birth certificate
  • Original Sandwich Admission Letter
  • A scanned signature
  • Verification of disability status (if applicable)
• Carefully agree to the terms and submit your application.

1. Tracking Clearance Progress:

• As documents are reviewed, the clearance status will be updated. Once the review reaches 100%, candidates will be eligible to print their LASU Admission Clearance Certificate and receive their matriculation number.

• If there are any errors or requests for corrections, candidates will be required to make additional payments via the LASU e-payment portal.

• Rejected candidates can view reasons for rejection in their portal and may need to visit the Directorate of Sandwich at the Main Campus, Ojo, for further assistance.
