Admission Requirements
- For HND Programs:
- National Diploma (ND) with a minimum of Lower Credit from a recognized polytechnic or similar institution
- At least one year of relevant industrial experience
- O’Level credit passes in five subjects, including English Language and Mathematics
- For Pre-ND Program:
- At least four O’Level credit passes, including English Language and Mathematics
- For IJMB Program:
- Five O’Level credit passes, including English Language and Mathematics
Application Process
To apply for admission, follow these steps:
- Visit the Kogi State Polytechnic official website (www.kogistatepolytechnic.edu.ng)
- Click on the “Admissions” tab and select the desired program (HND, Pre-ND, or IJMB)
- Create an account and obtain an application PIN by paying the non-refundable application fee
- Complete the online application form
- Upload all required documents, including:
- Academic certificates and transcripts
- Birth certificate or declaration of age
- Certificate of state of origin
- NYSC discharge certificate or exemption letter (for HND applicants)
- Submit the completed application
Application Deadline
The deadline for submission of applications is August 31, 2024. Late applications may not be considered.
Entrance Examination
Shortlisted candidates for the Pre-ND and IJMB programs will be invited for an entrance examination. The date and venue for the examination will be communicated to eligible candidates via email and SMS.
