Kaduna State University (KASU) 2025/2026 Post-UTME/DE Admission: Full Guide & Cut-Off Marks
Kaduna State University (KASU) has officially opened its Post-UTME and Direct Entry (DE) application portal for the 2025/2026 academic session. If you selected KASU in your UTME or Direct Entry form—or are planning to switch—this is your chance to secure admission.
Application Period:
Starts: Friday, July 18, 2025
Closes: Wednesday, July 31, 2025
No extensions. No second chances.
Who Can Apply?
To be eligible for KASU’s Post-UTME or DE screening, you must:
- Score at least the approved cut-off mark for your chosen course
- Possess five (5) O’Level credits, including English and Mathematics, in no more than two sittings
- For DE: Hold an A-level qualification or diploma in a relevant subject combo
Important:
If your UTME score doesn’t meet the cut-off for your course, log in to the JAMB portal and change your course before applying.
Faculty-Based Cut-Off Marks for KASU 2025 Admission
Agriculture & Environmental Sciences
- Agriculture, Architecture, Building, Estate Mgt, Env. Mgt, Quantity Surveying: 170
- DE: 7 points or 10-point relevant diploma
Health & Pharmaceutical Sciences
- Physiotherapy, Radiography, MLS, Nursing, Pharmacy: 200
- DE: 12 points + approved diploma (also 12 points minimum)
Arts, Education, Humanities & Law
- All Arts (e.g., English, History, Hausa), Education Courses: 170
- DE: 7 points + NCE/diploma (minimum 10 points)
Medicine
- Medicine & Surgery: 220
- DE: 13 points and above
Communication, Management & Social Sciences
- Mass Comm, Journalism, Broadcasting: 180
- Political Sci, Sociology, Economics, IR, Criminology: 180
- Accounting, Business Admin, Marketing, Public Admin: 170
- DE: 7 points + related diploma (10 points minimum)
Computing, Engineering & Sciences
- Computer Science, Cyber Security, Info Systems: 200
- Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Computer): 200
- Biochem, Microbiology, Biotech, Biology: 180
- Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics: 170
- DE: 7 points + related diploma
Step-by-Step Application Guide for KASU Post-UTME 2025
STEP 1: Visit the Portal
Go to the KASU application portal using your phone or computer. Select either Post-UTME or Direct Entry, based on your status.
STEP 2: Create Your Profile
- Enter your JAMB Registration Number and check eligibility
- If eligible, click More Information > Apply Now
- First-timers should click Create New Account
- Already started? Just log in
STEP 3: Make Payment
- Confirm your personal details
- Pay ₦2,000 (excluding bank charges) on the portal
- Use any of the listed secure payment options
STEP 4: Fill Out the Form Carefully
- Enter your full and correct details
- Input your O’Level results (max 2 sittings)
- DE candidates must upload A-level documents
- Upload the following:
- WAEC/NECO/NABTEB results
- DE/A-level certificate
- Birth certificate
- NIN slip
- State of origin/indigene certificate
- JAMB 2025 updated slip
- Photo format: clear, colour, JPEG, white background, under 1MB
Tip: Don’t misplace your uploads. Blurry or wrongly placed documents may disqualify you.
Optional: Choose a second-choice course in case your first doesn’t work out.
STEP 5: Final Submission
- Confirm that all info is accurate
- Preview your form
- Click Submit

Quick Reminders Before You Go
- If your UTME score is below your course’s cut-off, change your course on JAMB CAPS
- Ensure your O’Level results are uploaded to the JAMB portal
- Use a valid email and phone number for all communications
- Avoid middlemen or unofficial agents—apply only via the official KASU portal
