Joseph Ayo Babalola University (JABU), a faith-based private institution renowned for academic excellence, has officially opened its postgraduate admission portal for the 2025/2026 academic session. Admission Requirements
Master’s Degree Programmes
To be eligible, applicants must:
- Possess at least five O’Level credits, including English and Mathematics, in not more than two sittings.
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of Second Class Lower from JABU or another approved university.
- Alternatively, have a Postgraduate Diploma (PGD) with a minimum CGPA of 4.0 on a 5-point scale.
Additional Programme-Specific Notes:
- Food Science and Technology: Degrees in Biochemistry, Microbiology, Agriculture, or Engineering may be accepted, though bridging courses may apply.
- MBA (Insurance & Risk): Applicants with degrees in Insurance or Actuarial Science may be considered.
- Architecture: Must have a Bachelor’s in Architecture and proof of six months industrial training (if first degree is not from JABU).
- Applicants may be invited for a written or oral interview.
Postgraduate Diploma (PGD)
To qualify for the PGD programme, candidates must:
- Have five O’Level credits, including English and Maths.
- Hold a Third Class Degree from a recognised university or a relevant HND.
How to Apply
Option 1: Online Application
- Visit the JABU postgraduate portal.
- Click on “Create Account” and provide valid details, especially your email.
- Check your email to activate your account.
- Log in and complete your bio-data.
- Upload required documents (JPEG format).
- Wait for further instructions via email.
Option 2: Physical Application
Purchase an application form at any of JABU’s approved centres with a ₦10,000 bank draft payable to Joseph Ayo Babalola University. Clearly write your name on the back of the draft.
