JAMB Opens Portal for 2025 Mop-Up UTME Slip Printing — Here’s How to Get Yours

1 year ago Chisom

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has officially opened the portal for candidates eligible to sit for the 2025 Mop-Up Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME). If you missed the main UTME or faced technical issues during it, this mop-up exam is your second — and final — opportunity to write the exam this year.

The exam will hold nationwide on Saturday, 28 June 2025. All eligible candidates are advised to print their examination slips immediately, as these slips contain crucial details such as exam centre, date, and time.

What You Need To Know

Before you show up for your exam, here’s everything you must understand — in clear terms.

How to Print Your Mop-Up Exam Slip

Getting your slip is easy if you follow these three steps:

  1. Visit the Official Portal:
Visit the JAMB mop-up slip portal using any internet-enabled device.
  2. Enter Your Details:
Input your JAMB Registration Number or the GSM number you used during registration.
  3. Print Your Slip:
Click on “Print Mop-Up Examination Slip”. Your exam schedule will appear — print it and keep it in a safe place.

Important Guidelines Before Exam Day

Here are key things you should NOT ignore:

1. No Electronic Devices Allowed

Leave your phone, wristwatch, USB, pen, ATM card, jewellery, and other gadgets at home. They’re banned at the exam venue.

2. Your Slip Is Your Entry Ticket

No slip, no entry. Make multiple copies in case one gets lost. You must present it at the centre.

3. Biometric Verification Is Mandatory

JAMB will use fingerprint scanning to confirm your identity. If your thumbprint doesn’t match, you won’t be allowed to write the exam.

4. Missing the Exam Means Disqualification

There will be no rescheduling. If you fail to show up on June 28, you’ll be marked absent — no second chances.

5. No Subject Changes on Exam Day

Whatever appears on your printed slip — that’s final. You won’t be allowed to adjust your subject combination at the centre.

Final Word

The 2025 JAMB mop-up exam is a rare second chance. Don’t take it lightly. Prepare well, print your slip now, follow the exam rules, and show up ready.

Success isn’t just about luck — it’s about preparation.
