If your work, business, or lifestyle doesn’t allow for full-time study, Ignatius Ajuru University of Education (IAUE) is offering a perfect alternative.
The university has officially opened its 2025/2026 Part-Time Degree Admission — with flexible options designed for working-class individuals, entrepreneurs, parents, and busy professionals.
Whether you’re looking to study during the week or just on weekends, IAUE’s part-time system is built to fit your schedule.
Who Can Apply?
This programme is perfect if:
- You’re employed full-time or self-employed
- You’re over 26 years old
- You can’t commit to daily lectures but still want a university degree
- You want NYSC eligibility after graduation
IAUE offers two flexible modes:
- Regular Part-Time: Attend weekday lectures alongside full-time students. Same curriculum, same 4-year duration.
- Weekend Part-Time: Attend only on Saturdays and Sundays.
Bonus: Regular part-time students are eligible for NYSC and can stay in hostels.

Entry Requirements
To qualify, applicants must:
- Be 26 years or older
- Have at least five (5) credit passes in SSCE, NECO, or NABTEB
- Credits must include English Language and Mathematics, plus three other relevant subjects
- Results must not be from more than two sittings
