Horizon College of Nursing Sciences Opens 2025/2026 Admission Portal

Horizon College of Nursing Sciences (HOCONS), Abuja has officially opened its admissions portal for the 2025/2026 academic session. Applications are now being accepted for National Diploma (ND) and Higher National Diploma (HND) programmes in Nursing.


Located in the heart of Nigeria’s capital, HOCONS is a fully accredited private nursing college, recognized by the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) and operates under the standards of the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN). Its mission? To train highly skilled nurses who are ready to meet healthcare demands both in Nigeria and internationally.

Who Can Apply?

To be eligible for admission, applicants must:

Sit for the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME)
Score at least 140 in the UTME
Select HOCONS as First Choice Institution during JAMB registration or change to it via a CBT centre or JAMB office

Academic Requirements:
Minimum of five (5) O’Level credits, including English, Mathematics, Biology, Physics, and Chemistry
Accepted exam bodies: WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB
Not more than two sittings

How to Apply

If You Already Chose HOCONS in JAMB:

  1. Visit the HOCONS admission portal
  2. Fill out the online application form
  3. Submit and regularly check your email and portal for updates

If You Didn’t Choose HOCONS Yet:

  1. Visit a JAMB-accredited CBT centre or office
  2. Request a change of institution to Horizon College of Nursing Sciences
  3. Go to the HOCONS portal to complete your application
