Gombe State College of Nursing Sciences Launches 2025 Post-UTME Sales for ND/HND Nursing Programmes

The management of Gombe State College of Nursing Sciences, popularly known as the College of Nursing and Midwifery, has officially opened the sale of Post-UTME forms for the 2025/2026 academic session. This is for admission into the ND/HND Nursing programme, and interested candidates are urged to act quickly, as the application window is short.


Programme Duration and Requirements

The ND/HND Nursing programme is a four-year course. To be eligible, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Age: 16 to 35 years at the time of admission.
  • Health: Must be physically fit for study and nursing practice.
  • UTME Score: Minimum of 160, with the College as first and preferred choice.
  • O’Level Requirements: Five credits in English, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics from WAEC, SSCE/GCE, NECO, SAISSCE/NBAIS, or NABTEB in no more than two sittings. NABTEB candidates must have all five credits in one sitting.
  • JAMB CAPS: Applicants must upload their O’level results to the JAMB CAPS portal at a JAMB office or accredited CBT centre. Failure to do this may cost the admission slot.

How to Apply

Applications are strictly online via the official Gombe Nursing portal. Follow these steps:

  1. Create an account using a valid email and phone number.
  2. Select ND/HND Nursing.
  3. Pay a non-refundable fee of ₦5,000 via the designated bank platform (excluding e-service charges).
  4. Complete the form and upload the required documents.
  5. Print the application slip and submit it with two recent passport photographs to the College ICT Unit.

Important Dates

  • Forms on sale: Monday, 15th September 2025
  • Forms close: Midnight, Thursday, 25th September 2025
  • Submission deadline: Friday, 26th September 2025
  • Screening & Oral Interview: Thursday, 2nd to Friday, 3rd October 2025

Note: No extensions will be granted. Candidates must meet deadlines to avoid losing their chance.

Screening and Advisory

Applicants attending the physical screening must bring:

  • Original O’level results from WAEC, NECO, NABTEB, or other listed exam bodies.
  • Original credentials for verification.

The College warns candidates against scams. Only communications from official channels are valid. Offers or messages from unofficial sources should be ignored.
