GoGettaz Calls on Young African Entrepreneurs to Compete for $50,000 in Agriculture Innovation
Are you a young entrepreneur working in agriculture, food production, or the supply chain? This is your chance to make a lasting impact! The GoGettaz Agripreneur Prize Competition is back, and it’s looking for innovative business ideas from across Africa that will transform the food systems in the continent.
What’s in it for you?
Prizes and Recognition
- Two grand prizes of $50,000 will be awarded: one for a male-led and one for a female-led business.
- An additional $60,000 in Impact Awards will be given to exceptional businesses making strides in the following areas:
- Food supply and safety
- Technology in farming

- Support for rural communities
- Sustainable water and land use
- Gender equality in agriculture

Can You Apply?
To be eligible for the GoGettaz Agripreneur Prize, you need to meet the following criteria:
- Be 35 years old or younger when you submit your application.
- Be from any African Union country.
- Be the owner or co-owner of an already registered business in agriculture, food production, or the supply chain.
- Your business must be fully registered on or before June 10, 2025.

Shortlisted candidates will be invited to pitch their business ideas live at the Africa Food Systems Forum (AFSF) in Dakar, Senegal this September.
