GIFA 2026 Essay Competition Opens for Akwa Ibom Tertiary Students

The Girls in Future Awards (GIFA) has launched its 2026 essay writing competition for tertiary students in Akwa Ibom State. This initiative, part of GIFA’s second anniversary celebrations, aims to promote academic excellence and empower young minds across the state.

Eligibility:
The competition is open exclusively to students who:

Are indigenous to Akwa Ibom State
Are enrolled in recognised tertiary institutions
Reside within Akwa Ibom State
