FUTMINNA Sets Date for 34th Convocation Ceremony: Everything Graduands Need to Know
The Federal University of Technology, Minna (FUTMINNA) has announced the schedule for its 34th convocation ceremony, confirming the event will hold on Sunday, 1 February 2026, at the Suleimanu Kumo Convocation Square, Main Campus, Gidan Kwano. The ceremony will host both undergraduate and postgraduate graduands.
Academic Gown Collection
Graduands are required to collect their academic gowns from their respective School Secretaries starting Monday, 26 January 2026. FUTMINNA emphasizes that early collection is recommended to avoid delays and long queues.
Gown Return and Certificate Collection
Graduates must return their gowns at the point of certificate collection through their school representatives on the day of the convocation (1 February 2026).
Penalties and Replacement Costs
- Late return: N2,000 per day
- Lost gown: N38,000 replacement fee
