FUTMINNA Launches 2025/2026 Pre-Admission Screening for New Medical and Health Programmes
Minna, Nigeria — The Federal University of Technology, Minna (FUTMINNA) has officially opened its 2025/2026 Pre-Admission Screening (UPASE) for newly approved Medical and Health Science programmes, giving prospective students a fresh opportunity to secure admission into the institution.
According to the university’s management, the screening exercise commences on Saturday, October 18, 2025, and will close at midnight on Thursday, October 21, 2025. Interested candidates are urged to apply early to avoid last-minute technical issues on the registration portal.
Programmes and Minimum Cut-off Marks
FUTMINNA has outlined specific cut-off marks for its new medical and health courses as follows:
- Medicine and Surgery – 250
- Nursing Science – 230
- Medical Laboratory Science – 230
- Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) – 230
- Human Anatomy – 170
- Human Physiology – 170
Eligibility Criteria
Only candidates who:
- Sat for the 2025 UTME,
- Selected FUTMINNA as their first choice institution, and
- Met the required departmental cut-off marks,
are eligible to apply for the screening exercise.
Qualified applicants are required to complete their registration through the FUTMINNA UPASE Application Portal accessible via the university’s official website.
