How to Check the FUTIA Admission List

The FUTIA admission list can be checked in two ways:

Option 1: Via JAMB CAPS

Follow these simple steps:

1. Visit the JAMB E-Facility Portal
2. Log in using your JAMB email and password.
3. Scroll down and click “Check Admission Status.”
4. Select “Access My CAPS.”
5. Tap “Admission Status” to view your result.

Pro tip: If you’re on a mobile device, open the page in Chrome and select “Request Desktop Site” to view the full version properly.

Option 2: Via FUTIA Admission Portal

Alternatively, you can log in directly to the FUTIA Admission Portal. to check your status. Both platforms display the same information, so choose whichever you find convenient.

Understanding JAMB CAPS Admission Messages

If you see one of these messages, here’s what it means:

• Admission Offered: Congratulations! You’ve been officially offered admission.
• Admission in Progress (AIP): Your name has been sent for approval. Stay patient — it’s almost done.
• Recommended: The school has recommended you; JAMB is finalizing your offer.
• Not Admitted: Don’t panic — FUTIA releases admission in batches. Keep checking.
• Pending: Your application is still under review. Keep an eye on CAPS regularly.

What to Do After Being Offered Admission

If you’ve been offered admission, take the following steps immediately:

1. Accept or Reject your offer by sending ACCEPT or REJECT to 55019 or 66019 using your registered JAMB phone number.
2. Print your JAMB Admission Letter.
3. Log in to the FUTIA Portal and pay your Acceptance Fee.

Note: Complete these steps as soon as possible to avoid late registration issues.

FUTIA Screening and Registration Details

The screening and registration exercise for admitted students will hold at the University Lecture Theatre, Takeoff Campus, Ikot Abasi, from Monday, October 6 to Monday, October 20, 2025, starting 9:00 a.m. daily.

Documents Required for FUTIA Screening

Make sure you come along with the following documents:

• Acceptance Fee Receipt
• Original JAMB Result Slip
• Original JAMB Admission Letter
• O’Level Result(s)
• First School Leaving Certificate (FSLC)
• Birth Certificate or Age Declaration
• Twelve (12) recent passport photographs
• Attestation Letter (from a clergy, senior civil servant, or village head)
• Certificate of Origin
• FUTIA Bio-Data/Application Form
• FUTIA Screening Fee Receipt

Double-check your documents before leaving home. Incomplete files may delay your clearance.

If Your Name Isn’t on the List Yet

Don’t lose hope. FUTIA releases its admission list in batches, so if you don’t see your name yet, keep checking your JAMB CAPS regularly.
