FUTES-IYIN Opens Post UTME Registration for 2025/2026 Academic Session

The Federal University of Technology and Environmental Sciences, Iyin-Ekiti (FUTES-IYIN), has officially announced the commencement of its Post UTME screening registration for the 2025/2026 academic session.

Qualified candidates who wish to pursue any of the university’s undergraduate programmes can now submit their applications online via the official admission portal. According to the university, all admission processes will strictly follow the JAMB Central Admission Processing System (CAPS) guidelines.


Who Is Eligible to Apply?

To be eligible for the FUTES-IYIN 2025/2026 Post UTME, candidates must meet the following requirements:

  • Must be at least 16 years old by September 30, 2025.
  • Must have sat for the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).
  • Must have obtained a minimum JAMB score of 160 (note: some courses may require higher scores).
  • Must possess at least five (5) O’Level credits including English Language and Mathematics in WASSCE, NECO, or NABTEB (one sitting) or six (6) credits at two sittings.
  • Must upload their O’Level results to the university’s admission portal.

Applicants who fail to meet these conditions, or who scored below the minimum JAMB cut-off, are not eligible for admission consideration.

2. Faculty of Engineering and Technology
Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Mining Engineering, Civil and Environmental Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering.

3. Faculty of Environmental Sciences
Architecture, Building Technology, Estate Management, Environmental Science and Management, Industrial Design, Quantity Surveying, Surveying and Geoinformatics, Urban and Regional Planning, Forestry and Wildlife Management, Environmental Chemistry and Toxicology.

4. Faculty of Computing
Software Engineering, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information and Communications Technology.

Step-by-Step Guide to Apply for FUTES-IYIN Post UTME

1. Change of Institution (if applicable)
Candidates who did not originally select FUTES-IYIN as their first-choice institution on JAMB must apply for a Change of Institution via the JAMB portal.

2. Access the Admission Portal
Visit the official FUTES Admission Portal  and carefully read all registration instructions before starting your application.

3. Apply Under the Right Category
If your details are not displayed under “FIRST Choice,” select the “OTHER Choice” option. However, ensure you complete the Change of Institution process to FUTES-IYIN on JAMB CAPS before the deadline.

4. Make Payment
Applicants must pay a ₦2,000 Post UTME Screening Fee and a ₦3,000 Portal Access Fee using the REMITA platform on the university’s portal.

5. Screening and Verification
After completing the registration, the university will verify all submitted details. Candidates will then be notified of their aggregate scores after the screening process is concluded.
